# Bank accounts

> Save a bank account for wallet withdrawals

Before you can withdraw from your [wallet](/member-guide/wallet), you need at least one saved bank account.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Settings">Go to **Settings → Bank accounts**.</Step>

  <Step title="Add an account">
    Select your bank, enter the account number, and confirm the account name.
    You'll get an email confirming it was added.

  <Step title="Set a default">
    If you save more than one account, mark the one you want used by default for
    withdrawals.
  </Step>

Removing an account also sends you a confirmation email, so you notice right away if an account disappears without your doing it.
